Ms. Herman is a partner at Herman and Russo. The firm's philosophy is simple – provide quality service, always. Her practice focuses on consumer bankruptcy, and she has over 12 years experience in consumer bankruptcy.
Ms. Herman is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to founding Herman and Russo, she operated her own law firm in Slidell, Louisiana, where she specialized in domestic law, personal injury, criminal law, and bankruptcy. She drafted the rules of court for the Slidell City Court and served as vice president of the Slidell Bar Association. Of all the areas in which she practiced, Ms. Herman enjoyed consumer bankruptcy the most.
Upon her arrival to Atlanta, she joined a large firm that specialized in consumer bankruptcy where she achieved the position of first female partner. Ms. Herman has tried hundreds of cases before the bankruptcy courts in Georgia and Louisiana and has helped thousands of people save their homes and cars by filing bankruptcies on their behalf. Ms. Herman has also worked with a presidential candidate to ensure compliance with Florida electoral laws during the 2004 general election.
She is an active member of the Atlanta Junior League and volunteers with Hospice Camp Stars. She is also a member of both the Atlanta LSU and New Orleans Saints fan clubs.

David A. Russo

Mr. Russo is a partner at Herman & Russo. The firm's philosophy is simple – provide quality service, always.
Mr. Russo is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to founding Herman & Russo, Mr. Russo served as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer with the U.S. Army, as well as various positions in law enforcement and criminal justice. While on active duty with the Army, Mr. Russo served in differing assignments that included legal assistance attorney, trial counsel, operational law attorney, and in military intelligence.
In his legal assignments, Mr. Russo has assisted thousands of soldiers with a wide range of legal issues that have faced them while both at home and abroad. He has also served as a company commander during the first phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom and recently spent a year in Baghdad, Iraq, as part of the command responsible for all military medical operations in the country. Mr. Russo has been awarded the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medals for service in Iraq.
He is an active member of the American Motorcycle Association and has volunteered at the Georgia Aquarium. He is also a member of both the Atlanta LSU and New Orleans Saints fan clubs.
