Where to Start

Prior to the consultation, obtain two copies of each of the following (as applicable):
- Recent pay stubs or other proof of income
- Declarations pages for your homeowners' and automobile insurance
- Proof of your social security number
Complete the client information worksheet form online. If you prefer, you may download a copy of the information form and fill it out as completely as you can.
If you do not know all of your creditors, you might wish to contact a credit reporting agency and request a copy of your credit report. Be aware, however, that the report might not list everyone to whom you owe money. We suggest that you review the information on this website to get a clear, basic understanding of your rights and remedies and of whether filing Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 makes sense for you.
